You can play the 10 practice games with any of our 1400+ primary topics at Free Maths Games. The games will help primary learners studying primary maths by reinforcing the maths they have learned in the lesson section. Free Maths Games is designed to make learning primary maths both fun and really productive!
In addition to the games, there are both lessons and tests for every primary topic here at Free Maths Games. The lessons include an introduction to the topic plus an "Either / Or" activity and a multiple choice activity which you the primary learner should work through before attempting the games.
When you are comfortable with the topic you might like to attempt the two simple primary tests available with Free Maths Games. The writing test is a chance to type in your answers to the questions and has quite a funny help system which may or may not be that helpful...
Each of our primary maths topic is between 4 and 20 items - either equations, words, or series - as questions and answers. If you choose to have the robot voice on, the questions and answers are spoken by your friendly local android. If you didn't catch the question, click on the question box to hear the question again (and get an enhanced view of the question). Most answers also have a speaker next to them which will speak the answer if you click/tap it.
All our topics have been created with reference to the UK National Curriculum for years 1 to 6. We believe that our 1400+ topics cover most of what pupils are required to learn in the primary maths curriculum but of course this website is no substitute for actual tuition by a real teacher! Rather we hope it provides a resource that all UK teachers feel confident to draw on to support their teaching, and which all UK primary pupils will respond to positively on their learning journey.
